How does it feel to be a black Canadian? Well for me being
a black Canadian really isn’t too different from being a white
Canadian. I was born here, raised by white parents, I wear skinny
jeans, cardigans, drink coffee, and for all people know I could be
some white dude who fell asleep in the sun on vacation for to long.
There can be some disadvantages however, for example if a bunch
of white guys are playing a pick up game of basketball in the park
and I want to join, I have to warn them that I am terrible, before
they get all excited about which team gets the black guy.
